summary

ILDL with the help of its technologically advanced fixtures used minimalist luminaires from Lumenpulse to achieve the desired light effect.

about the project

With very exquisitely ornamental plasterwork on the ceilings, unique in Delhi, this early 16th century building is amongst the earliest Buildings built during the Mughal reign and is a great work of architecture and design. The ornamental ceiling with magnificent star patterns, comparable to a wall painting and on the lines of the Persian wooden ceilings which were, most certainly, the inspiration for this early Mughal period building is unmatched in its architectural elegance.

lighting design intent

With a belief of adhering to ‘quality over quantity’, the minimalist lighting of the 16th century old architecture structures’ dome was done using just 4 numbers 14W LED products to give the dome and monument a subtle glow for the evenings. ILDL used fixtures from Lumenpulse with precise beam angles to light up the structure.
